Anzac Parade residents within the cordon area are advised that the Wanganui District Council building control team will be based at Wanganui Girls’ College on Friday afternoon and on Saturday.

The team will be revisiting properties between Jones Street and Mt View Road to determine whether people will be able to live in their properties when the cordon is lifted or whether they will only be able to return to start the clean-up.

The building team will be at the welfare centre in the Girls’ College hall from 1.00pm-4.30pm today (Friday) and all day on Saturday.
