Triennium priorities 2025-2028

Our 2025–2028 Triennium Priorities set out the four strategic focus areas guiding the council's work for the next three years, grounded in our Strategy for Whanganui: Rautaki mō Whanganui. With Te Awa Tupua as our anchor, these priorities reflect our commitment to:

  • leading through partnership
  • delivering a credible, prioritised programme of service delivery
  • building a high-performing council, capable of change
  • positioning Whanganui to be reform-ready, in Whanganui's interests.
