The prosecution of Adrian Page on four counts of breaching an Enforcement Order concluded on Thursday, 10 October 2013, when his Honour Judge Thompson discharged the jury after they were unable to agree on a verdict.

The trial began on Monday, October 7.

Wanganui District Council Chief Executive Kevin Ross said the Council had prosecuted Mr Page in respect of work on his residential property at 86 Ikitara Road in breach of the Environment Court’s Enforcement Order made in June 2009.

“Whether or not to continue with the prosecution is a decision to be made early in its term by the new Council,” Mr Ross said.
