Let’s connect! Come down to the Whanganui River Markets on 24 April to talk to us about the proposal to develop and implement a broad coastal plan for Whanganui. We’re proposing coastal planning to protect and restore our coastal areas from erosion, ecological degradation and the impacts of climate change.

Throughout March and April we will be out and about in the community to hear your thoughts on our draft Long-Term Plan 2021-31. The plan includes looks at some of the important issues in the district that need to be addressed over the next ten years and we need your feedback and ideas to help us make some key decisions.
