It’s an honour to represent you during my fourth term on council.
I was born, raised and educated in Whanganui. I obtained my undergraduate degree in politics and psychology at Massey University.
I am grounded by values which recognise open dialogue, respectful relationships and constructive disagreement. I celebrate difference and diversity as a source of strength. I see Whanganui as a multicultural district built on a bicultural foundation, with Te Tiriti o Waitangi at the core of who we are. I want us to be an outward-looking and welcoming community.
Outside of council, I am board chair of Age Concern Whanganui and deputy-chair of the St Anne’s Catholic School Board. I’m a Rotarian, former DHB board member, marriage celebrant and former sports coordinator for the New Zealand Masters Games.
Please feel free to contact me if you’d like me to attend an event or engage on a council-related matter.
