Settlement reached - Wastewater treatment plant

Following the completion of a mediation process in November last year, MWH and the Whanganui District Council have agreed to settle the claim that the Council has brought against it in court relating to its work on the Wastewater treatment plant.

The parties have agreed to this settlement in order to bring to an end the ongoing uncertainty connected with the proceedings and the need to fund and participate in a trial that would otherwise take place towards the end of this year.

Both parties are pleased that the matter has been resolved.
