Emergency works on the Victoria Avenue and Dublin Street intersection will begin after 9.00am on Tuesday, May 31.
This is due to a collapsed sewer pipe, which has caused a tomo (sinkhole) on Dublin Street. The work is likely to take several weeks.
A 30km speed limit will be in place around the works except for traffic travelling toward the intersection from the north end of Dublin Street, which will be detoured.
Cyclists travelling south along Dublin Street will need to dismount and use the footpath.
