Majestic Square

Majestic Square is listed as one of Whanganui’s premier parks and serves as a central city gathering place for many community events.

Situated on Victoria Avenue, it adjoins Pukenamu Queen’s Park and links the city’s commercial and cultural sides. The lower part of Majestic Square has direct access to Victoria Avenue and includes seating areas and an outdoor stage.

The upper part of the square has direct access to Watt Street and Pukenamu Queen's Park and includes a number of shade areas.
