I am an eighth-term councillor and have served the Whanganui district for twenty years. My children were born and raised here, and I am passionate about healthy children and families.
My key focus on the council will always be to support sporting clubs and facilities that our community needs to thrive.
Whanganui is doing well at the moment. My experience as a business owner, radiographer, olympian and most experienced councillor will be vital to keep the momentum going. My support will help the council to stay ratepayer-focused. I will oppose any central government attempts to take decisions away from us.
I care about supporting home ownership for our more vulnerable and seeking government (NZTA) support to replace or repair aging infrastructure.
