I championed bringing a low-cost fuel retailer to Whanganui, which has reduced fuel prices by an average of 32 cents per litre. I led a rigorous analysis of the food scraps trial and amplified the voices of Whanganui residents to halt the rollout of food-scrap bins.
By listening closely to the community, I successfully campaigned to prevent the closure of our aviary and the Whanganui East Pool, preserving these vital community assets.
