Downer Construction, in partnership with Loaders Civil, will soon begin stormwater and wastewater works on Fox Road. This is a key step in the Pingao Drive (Fox Road to Fitzherbert Avenue Link Road) project, allowing us to connect the new link road to the Fox Road drainage system.
Work is scheduled to start at 7:00am on Monday, 29 June and is expected to take four weeks to complete. During this period, the planned works will include wellpoint dewatering, deep trenching, road reinstatement, and installation of a new 1200mm stormwater pipe, a stormwater manhole, a 150mm wastewater pipe and two wastewater manholes.
To safely complete these works, Fox Road will be closed 24 hours a day between Cornwall Road and Mosston Road for the duration of the works. Resident-only access beyond Cornwall Road will remain available at all times, and traffic detours will be clearly signposted.
