Under Section 11A of Schedule 10 of the Local Government Act 1974, the following road will be closed for the Wanganui Harrier Club 2026 Pak’nSave Whanganui 3 Bridges Marathon.
Period of closure:
- Sunday, 6 December 2026
- 3.00am to 4.00pm
- Whanganui City Bridge – from Victoria Avenue to Anzac Parade
During the closure, directional signs will be in place to show alternative route. It will be an offence for any person other than those under the authority of an authorised permit to use these roads for ordinary vehicular traffic during the closures.
