Mayor Annette Main has asked those in our community who were living in a house at the time of the flooding event on June 20, either as an owner or as a tenant, and who are still unable to return to that house to contact her directly.

“While some people have begun to make decisions about their future, others remain overwhelmed by what has occurred, and I have been advised that there are many who have not yet registered with our welfare centre,” Mayor Main said.

“This makes it difficult for us to fully understand where help is most needed right now.”
