Community Link Te Hononga a Hapori(PDF, 3MB) this week features the council's adoption of the Waste Plan 2021 with minor amendments, the announcement that Whanganui is now a UNESCO City of Design and the council's support for the Lighting Up Purple campaign for World Prematurity Day. The Royal Whanganui Opera House will be lit up in purple this week to raise awareness of the babies born prematurely each year.
