Community Kōrero - bringing council to the people

Mayor Andrew Tripe and Whanganui District councillors welcome people to a series of sessions around the district to chat about key topics and to give updates on council plans and projects.

Mayor Andrew says the sessions, called Community Kōrero, are a chance for people to engage directly with the people they have elected to represent them.

The first sessions are in February and March at the following dates and locations:

5.15pm – Wednesday 22 February 2023

5.30pm – Tuesday 28 February 2023
Hakeke Street Community Centre
65 Hakeke Street, Whanganui East

12.30pm – Wednesday 1 March 2023

5.15pm – Wednesday 1 March 2023
St Mary’s School
30 London Street, Aramoho

5.15pm – Tuesday 7 March
St John’s Hill School
71 Parkes Avenue, St John’s Hill
