Nomination period for election candidates  4 July-1 August (12 noon deadline)
Public notice of candidates’ names Wednesday 6 August
Election signs (with permit) can go up at council-owned sites Monday 11 August
Voting papers delivered to households 9-22 September
Voting period (including special votes) 9 September-11 October
Election day  Saturday 11 October (voting closes at 12 noon) 
Declaration of results Thursday 16 October
