Creative Communities Scheme

The Creative Communities Scheme is a partnership between Whanganui District Council and Creative New Zealand to promote local arts projects.

Applications for round one of the Whanganui Creative Communities Scheme for 2019/20 will close at 12.00 noon on Thursday, 3 October 2019. The round is for projects that will take place between 19 October 2019 and 19 October 2020.

All applications must be made on the official form which  can be downloaded below or you can pick up a copy from Customer Services, 101 Guyton Street.

  • All applications must be made on the official form available as a word document(DOCX, 116KB) and as a pdf(PDF, 686KB)
  • Print off and use the PDF version for handwritten applications
  • Instructions on how to complete the application form as a word document are contained within the document

$690 for venue hire costs for the Matariki Glow Show

$1800 for a quilting workshop, indigenous women's space and stories - Nga Hekenga

Whanganui Camera Club

$1780 towards the costs of 125th anniversary celebration workshops
