Pursuant to Section 11A of Schedule 10 of the Local Government Act 1974, Whanganui District Council intends to close the following road for the Wanganui Harrier Club 2026 Pak'nSave Whanganui 3 Bridges Marathon.
Period of intended closure:
- Whanganui City Bridge from Victoria Avenue to Anzac Parade.
- Sunday, 6 December 2026 between the hours of 3.00am and 4.00pm.
During the intended closure, directional signs will be in place to show the alternative route.
