For the 2023/24 financial year (starting in July 2023) the council is making a one-off rates remission (reduction) of up to $500 available for households facing a rates rise higher than $700.

During the middle of 2020 Council engaged the services of SGL Funding Limited (SGL) to undertake an independent review of the proposed Velodrome redevelopment. SGL were supported by Boon Team Architects and Rawlinsons Quantity Surveyors to complete this review.
