The work is scheduled for Monday, 9 February from 7:00am to 5.00pm.
Roberts Avenue
Roberts Avenue is scheduled for a reseal as part of the council's annual resurfacing programme.
The work is scheduled for Tuesday, 10 February and Wednesday, 11 February 2026 from 7:00am to 5.00pm.
Reseal information for both roadworks:
- A stop/go traffic control system will be in place to maintain access. Please expect short delays of up to 5 to 10 minutes.
- If weather conditions are unsuitable or unforeseen circumstances arise, the work will be postponed to the next suitable day.

Parking: Please ensure your vehicle is not parked on the street during the scheduled work period. Our team may knock on your door prior to starting if a vehicle needs to be moved.
Safety: For everyone’s safety, please remind children to keep clear of the work area and remain inside your property boundary wherever possible.
Aftercare: Newly-sealed surfaces require post-sweeping approximately 48 hours after the chipseal is laid. This will be done as needed to remove excess loose chip.
