Under Section 4 of the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, Whanganui District Council, the following road will be closed for the Wanganui Road Rodders 40th Annual Taupo Quay Street Drags.
• Period of closure:
Saturday, 28 February 2026. 6.00am to 6.00pm
Taupo Quay between Heads Road and Mason Terrace, including Pacific Place.
During the closure, directional signs will be in place to show the alternative route.
It will be an offence for any person other than those under the authority of an authorised permit to use this road for ordinary vehicular traffic during the closure.
