The Whanganui Regional Museum Trust Board invites the public to a meeting to hear the findings and key recommendations from the recent review of the museum’s constitution.
A Review Panel was established to recommend updates to governance practices, including alignment with the Charities Amendment Act 2023, and potential changes to enable outsourcing operations to Whanganui District Council.
This public meeting provides an opportunity for the community to learn about the recommendations and offer feedback that will assist the Trust Board in its final decisions in April.
Dr John Smart, Chair of the Whanganui Regional Museum Trust Board, will present the findings and recommendations.
