Lorenzdale Park

Lorenzdale Park is located on Swiss Avenue in Gonville. It has two playground areas (for children of different ages), seating, a basketball hoop and plenty of space to kick a ball around.

The park was gifted to the people of Whanganui by Nicholas Meuli in 1923 in memory of his son Lorenz who died in World War I.
