Karoro Road closed due to damaged pipe

Due to unexpected damage to a drainage pipe by an external party, Karoro Road, east of Beach Road, will be closed until further notice for emergency repairs.

The shared pathway along the stopbanks between Balgownie Avenue and Beach Road is also closed as a precautionary measure for public safety. Signs will be put up at the entrance of the walkway advising people to use Heads Road.

The area around the damage has been cordoned off and road closure signs have been put up at Beach Road.

We will provide updates as the repairs progress.
