Apply for rates remission

For the 2024/25 financial year (starting in July 2024) the council is continuing its rates remission (reduction) that was put in place for the 2023/24 year to assist households affected by a significant increase in rates as a result of the 2022 property revaluations.

Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2023 runs from 11-17 Hepetema-September

Te Hononga a Hapori Community Link(PDF, 2MB) this week includes central-government improvements funding for North Mole as part of Te Pūwaha, Sarjeant Gallery-hosted events for the upcoming Whanganui Literary Festival, Te Wiki o te Reo Māori / Māori Language Week’s Te Wā Tuku Reo Māori / Māori Language Moment tomorrow (Thursday, 14 September) at 12 noon, and celebrations for New Zealand Glassworks’ seventh birthday that feature an art glass design competition.
