If you require a property file before the 2022-23 Christmas / New Year holiday period, Whanganui District Council must receive your request no later than 5.00pm on Monday, 19 December 2022.This means you will receive the electronic file before the council closes for the holiday period at 12 noon on Friday, 23 December 2022.
If you require a Land Information Memorandum (LIM) report before the 2022-23 Christmas / New Year holiday period, your completed application form and payment must reach Whanganui District Council no later than 5.00pm on Friday, 9 December 2022.
Property file request deadline – 2022-23 holiday period
If you require a property file before the 2022-23 Christmas / New Year holiday period, Whanganui District Council must receive your request no later than 5.00pm on Monday, 19 December 2022.
This means you will receive the electronic file before the council closes for the holiday period at 12 noon on Friday, 23 December 2022.
Applications received after 5.00pm on Monday, 19 December will be processed when the council reopens at 8.30am on Wednesday, 4 January 2023.
You can request information on a property including drainage plans, building consents, Code Compliance Certificates (CCC) and more.
You will need to create a RealMe account to access the Council’s online application form. This will allow you to log in to Online Services website where you can complete the application form.

If you require a one-off copy of a specific document, this is generally a free service. For instance, if a Building Consent has been applied for in the past, we may hold a floor plan or drainage plan for the property.
