Apply for rates remission

For the 2023/24 financial year (starting in July 2023) the council is making a one-off rates remission (reduction) of up to $500 available for households facing a rates rise higher than $700.

Plan Change 62 - National Planning Standards

The purpose of this Plan Change is to make amendments to the Operative District Plan for the definitions of 'site coverage' and 'height'.

The implementation of the National Planning Standards in 2020 created some consequential amendments which this Plan Change addresses.

The approved amendments were publicly notified on 28 March 2023 with immediate effect.
