Whanganui Opera Week

Whanganui Opera Week is a series of public events where students of the New Zealand Opera School present public performances culminating in a Gala evening at the Royal Wanganui Opera House. 

Other events include a lunchtime concert; public masterclasses and the ever popular service in Whanganui Collegiate School Chapel.

The School is based at Whanganui Collegiate Campus during two weeks in early January.

This event is held at various locations throughout Whanganui, including the Prince Edward Auditorium at Whanganui Collegiate School, Royal Wanganui Opera House, Heritage House and various Whanganui restaurants.
