Have you visited the Opera House, Cooks Gardens or the Splash Centre recently?
These are just some of the questions in our annual Community Views Survey – and if you take part you can enter a draw to win one of three $100 grocery vouchers.
Take the survey
This independently-conducted online survey, open from Thursday, 14 March 2024, asks all residents aged 16 and over for feedback on council services and facilities as well as their perceptions of wellbeing, and emergency readiness.
The survey includes questions about culture and recreation, safety and wellbeing, the performance of the council and its response to community needs and issues. If you live in a rural area you will also be asked about the Whanganui Rural Community Board.
More than 500 people responded to the online survey last year and the council is keen to hear from as many locals as possible. If you normally live in the Whanganui district, whether you’ve had direct contact with the council or not, we would love to hear from you.
Independent research company Versus Research runs the survey on behalf of the council. It should take about 10 minutes to complete online.
All respondents are anonymous, and no individual responses will be supplied to the council. Everyone who completes the survey will have a chance to enter a draw to win one of the three $100 grocery vouchers.
The survey closes at 5.00pm on Tuesday, 2 April and the results of the survey are expected to be available in August this year.
