The intersection of Purnell Street and Ingestre Street will be closed to all through traffic from 7.00am on Saturday, 24 June until 5.00pm on Sunday, 25 June 2023 to allow KiwiRail to make rail crossing repairs. (Please note this work was originally scheduled for 10-11 June.)
Hatrick Street East and West will serve as detours around the worksite during the repairs. Grey Street and College Street are also advised as alternate routes for traffic to bypass the worksite.
Temporary speed restrictions will operate in this area until final road resealing work is done in early July.
