Under Section 4 of the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, Whanganui District Council proposes to close the following road for a Wanganui Car Club gravel hill climb motorsport event:
- Rangitatau East Road
- 9.00am-5.00pm, Saturday, 9 September 2023
- (from outside 1740 Rangitatau East Road to 2366 Rangitatau East Road – about 6.5km)
During the proposed closure, the Wanganui Car Club will allow controlled access.
Any person affected by the proposed closure who wishes to object must do so in writing, including reasons, by Friday, 11 August 2023 to Melanie Francis, Customer Support Team Leader, at the council contact centre, 101 Guyton Street, Whanganui or by email.
