The Nixon Street-Moana Street intersection will be closed to all through traffic for two weeks from 7.00am on Monday, 11 September until 5.00pm on Monday, 25 September 2023 for the installation of underground infrastructure as part of the ongoing Nixon Street wastewater upgrade project.
Nixon and Moana streets will act as cul-de-sacs during the work period – please see the access information below for affected residents:
- access for Moana Street residents – numbers 1 to 35 (both sides) – will be from Nixon Street
- access for Moana Street residents – numbers 36 to 49 (both sides) – will be from Jones Street
- access for Nixon Street residents – numbers 44 to 53 (both sides) – will be from Millward Street
- access for Nixon Street residents – numbers 57 to 67 (both sides) – will be from Kawakawa Street or Fromont Street.
