Karamu St-Attrill Pl resident-only access begins Monday, 27 May

On display until 28 June 2024, 06:00 PM

A section of Karamu Street from Totara Street to Patete Place will be closed to through-traffic from 7.00am on Monday, 27 May until 6.00pm on Friday, 28 June 2024 to allow for Whanganui District Council contractor Fulton Hogan to upgrade wastewater infrastructure in this area.

Attrill Place will also be closed to through-traffic during the four-week work period.

Detour signs will be in place to guide traffic around the worksite.

Resident access to the affected part of Karamu Street and Attrill Place will remain during the work period but may be limited at times due to the location of work activity.

(Please note that another four-week through-traffic closure will occur further along Karamu Street from Patete Place to Attrill Place to allow for this project to be completed. The council will advise of specific dates before this final stage begins.)

Karamu Street and Attrill Place will be closed to through-traffic from 27 May until 28 June
