Pukerimu Road and Okoia Road Under Section 4 of the Transport (Vehicular Traffic Road Closure) Regulations 1965, Whanganui District Council intends to close the following roads for a Wanganui Car Club sealed hill climb motorsport event:
Pukerimu Road 9.00am - 6.00pm, Saturday, 27 May 2023 (from the intersection with SH3 finishing 200m into the gravel road section – about 2km).
Okoia Road 9.00am - 6.00pm, Sunday, 28 May 2023 (from the intersection of Okoia Road and Matarawa Valley Road finishing at the intersection of Okoia Road and No 2 Line – about 1.4km).
During the intended closures, the Wanganui Car Club will allow controlled access.
Any person affected by the intended closures who wishes to object must lodge in writing their objection, including reasons, by Saturday, 29 April 2023 to Melanie Francis, Compliance Team Leader, at Council Customer Services, 101 Guyton Street, Whanganui or by email: melanie.francis@whanganui.govt.nz
