Application dates for Whanganui District Council’s 2021 Public Art Fund and Creative Communities Scheme Round 2 funding have been extended.
The council's Public Art Fund is an annual contestable fund that supports a wide range of public artworks including digital art, temporary performance, toi Māori, interactive art, sculpture, pou whenua, moving image, land art, mural art and much more.
Applications for the 2021 Public Art Fund now close at 12 noon on Friday, 29 October 2021.
The Creative Communities Scheme is a partnership between Whanganui District Council and Creative New Zealand to promote local arts projects.
Creative Communities Scheme Round 2 funding applications now close at 12 noon on Monday, 8 November 2021.
