Mayor Annette Main welcomed the first Air Chathams flight into Whanganui on Monday, August 1. Passengers on the flight included our MP Chester Borrows, a range of media and commuting passengers. Mayor Main says: “Air Chathams has told us that they can make this service viable and work for Whanganui. Now it’s Whanganui’s turn use to the Air Chathams’ service, which keeps open this vital air link to Auckland and beyond for business and leisure.”
