Home to many established, world renown and emerging artists, the city is a premier arts destination for New Zealand.

Explore studios in history and quirky locations, many are only open to the public during this event, experience the creative process first-hand, and meet the artists behind the art.

Whether you’re a serious collector, or a just dipping your toe in the water, there is no doubt you will enjoy the relaxed and inspiring journey of Artists Open Studios.

Held over two weekends every year in March, with other events and workshops held during the week between, this event is not to be missed.
