Draft Active Transport Strategy

The draft Active Transport Strategy 2017 establishes strategic direction for active transportation, such as walking and cycling, over the next 10 years. 

It addresses the need to improve connectivity and mobility in the district through an interconnected roading network that prioritises active transport modes.

The draft strategy was collaboratively developed with key health and transport partners, and is guided by the principle that walking and cycling can be travel modes that are safe, attractive and convenient means of travel.
