Buses
Horizons Regional Council has advised that the Whanganui Urban service will be mostly running to normal schedules from Thursday 14 May, 2020.

Please note that due to physical distancing requirements there is limited capacity available on board – this is one of many arrangements in place to keep users and drivers safe, including a contact tracing form, keeping two metres from others at the bus stop, and keeping at least one seat between you and those not in your bubble on board.

There will be signage advising these measures on board. However, they may not be in place right away.

School buses have resumed service.

The Whanganui – Palmerston North service has resumed its usual Monday - Friday timetable.
